Celebrity Equinox Brings Wellness to the Seas

With the inaugural sailing of the Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Cruises’ newest ship, comes the introduction of the Celebrity Life program. There are three elements to the program; Savor, Renew and Discover, all designed to help enhance passengers through different accents of life.

Focusing on health and wellness, the Renew portion of the Celebrity Life program will feature classes, spa treatments and seminars led by professionals. Renew will be further broken down into three segments; ageless, energy and longevity.

Youth enhancement will be the center of attention during the ageless category. Tips and treatments for taking care of the skin and general tips on living a more youthful lifestyle will be offered in seminars. Actual treatments of Botox, Restylane and Perlane will be available as well, administered by medical professionals. In the ship’s AquaSpa, passengers will have the option of receiving the cruise line’s one of a kind 24 Karat facial should they choose.

Everyone wants to increase their energy levels, and Celebrity Life’s programming will help passengers to learn and understand more on the methods to use to do just that. Experts will be on hand to assess individual guest wellness levels, and then to provide guidelines to design their lifestyles in such a manner as to improve their overall health. Individual attention in training, boot camps, gravity training and spinning classes will be offered in the first class fitness center, where the best of equipment is available.

As we grow older, living longer in the best of condition becomes a priority. The longevity section of the Celebrity Life program helps in that regard by holding lectures on managing stress levels, alternative health options and making the healthiest lifestyle choices. Classes teaching guests the techniques of Tai Chi and Yoga will be presented as well and an acupuncture expert will be on hand for complimentary visits.

Celebrity Cruises has implemented the Celebrity Life program for the betterment of their passengers and their health; responding to the needs and desires once again of their guests. The program will begin with the Celebrity Equinox, but will extend to all Celebrity ships to be in place by November for the benefit of all guests.
