Free Cruise insurance for Military

I’ve heard that military personnel are entitled to special discounts on cruises, but I’m not sure what they entail. How about insurance, for example? Has anyone heard about military free cruise travel insurance? I am not active military any longer, but I would like to know if I might be entitled to any type of discounts. I think that taking the cruise insurance is a good idea since you never know what situations may occur, but it is an added expense. If a discount on the cruise insurance for military personnel is available, I would like to take advantage of it.

Should I buy Travel Insurance from Cruise Lines?

Should I buy Travel Insurance from a sepatate insurance carrier or get it directly from the Cruise Line?

I was planning to go on a cruise trip and have found out the importance of having travel insurance for protection. Someone suggested Travelguard to me.

Is the recommendation to get insurance from Travelguard or other outside agency rather than the cruise lines, in this case, Princess?

All thoughts welcome. I'm sure there are pluses and minuses for both.

Senior Citizen travel rates

Here’s a question for the senior citizen members: are there special senior citizen rates that I should be asking for when looking into cruise travel? While I live comfortably, I don’t have money to throw away, so if there are senior citizen discounts or senior citizen rates when you are at or over a certain age, I’d sure like to know about them. Are there particular cruise lines that offer better senior citizen rates than others? Or some that regularly offer senior citizen discounts? Maybe some cruise lines cater more to senior citizens than others, at least with their rates

Senior Citizen discount

Nowadays, it seems like everything has a senior citizen discount. I’ve never heard anything advertised though for cruise travel; does anyone have information on discount senior citizen cruise travel?

Cruise Travel ticket costs

Is there a good way to shop around for cruise travel ticket costs? I'd love to take a cruise, but have limited funds, so I really want to shop around to get the best deals. I know some travel search engines cover cruises, but they also offer air, car and hotel, and I really don't want to sort through all of that.

I'd like to find a way to get the cruise ticket costs themselves. I hear all the time about people who get these really great deals for fun cruises; I just don't know how or where to find them.
