Can someone tell me what is involved with a luxury cruise? I am mainly interested in learning about luxury family cruise lines, and what makes a luxury cruise different from a standard cruise. I’d like to find out what a luxury cruise offers, what the choice of destinations are, are there age limits for children traveling with the family, and similar information like that. I have been on a standard cruise before with my family, and we really enjoyed the activities, touring when going ashore and everything about the cruise line. So I’m curious to see what might be different about a luxury cruise.

The vessels themselves range between small, intimate yachts to mid-sized ships that accommodate up to 1000 passengers. Destinations are just as varied, depending on the cruise line chosen you could go to the Caribbean or to Europe. These luxury cruises are pricier, but you definitely get what you pay for if it is luxury you seek.
