I’m ready for a holiday change this year. As much as I love the traditional family get-togethers at Thanksgiving, complete with turkey and all the trimmings, just for once I’d really like to try something a little different.
Has anyone gone on a Thanksgiving holiday cruise, leaving the annual tradition behind for a change of pace? How did your family like the idea?
It seems that it would be so stress free, spending a holiday truly just relaxing. I don’t know though if I would miss the tradition and family; and I still want to have a holiday feel in the air.

I think a lot of people like to change up their holiday seasons a little once in a while, and a cruise is a great way to do it. Instead of all the planning, cooking, and then clean up afterwards, you can sit back, just relax and really enjoy your holiday. All the major cruise lines offer holiday cruises, and even try to bring some of the holiday flair into the cruise through the meals and decorations. Everyone is different, but I think most family members would also enjoy the change. Besides, chances are next year you’ll be back at the traditional Thanksgiving table!! And don’t forget; Christmas will be just around the corner to spend the traditional time with extended family
