Bermuda cruises - a summer destination

My friend just returned from a cruise to Bermuda, and hasn’t stopped talking about it!! She said it was one of her favorite destinations, and she’s been on several cruises. She has me thinking I would like to go to Bermuda.

I didn’t realize that Bermuda was not in the Caribbean; it is on the eastern coast in the Atlantic, which means it does not get as hot in the summer as Caribbean destinations. I usually look for cruises in the winter as get-aways; now I have a summer destination also!! Has anyone ever done Bermuda cruise vacations that can share their experiences?

Bermuda Cruises

You’re right, it is not as hot in the summer there as many of the Caribbean cruise destinations, making it a perfect summer destination vacation. This time of year, temperatures average right around the mid 80’s during the day, with nighttime temps around the mid 70’s. Just about every cruise line travels there, too; Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, Celebrity and Princess just to name a few.

You’ll want to plan to travel from April through November; the typical season for cruises in that area. The beaches with the pink-tinted sands there are absolutely beautiful, and you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy them as most cruise lines stay at port for several days. There is plenty to do on this string of islands, with golf, tennis, great bands for nightlife enjoyment, boating, sailing….and so much more!!
