I’m thinking about a cruise leaving from Florida. What are some great Florida attractions, including golf that I should consider? I’ll need hotel and travel information, too, since I would probably plan to stay in Florida several days before leaving on the cruise. It would be easiest and best if the attractions (and golf!) would be near the port of departure. I know it’s a lot of information, but I like vacations that make the most of the time I have. Can anyone help me out with Florida attractions, golf, travel, hotels, cruise, transportation; in other words, the whole shebang?

Florida attractions
Have you considered Cape Canaveral? This is considered the busiest cruise line port in the world and a destination that is jam packed with activities, including at least 16 golf courses within a 30 mile radius. Attractions include the Space Center and Cocoa Beach, and the Disney attractions are just a bit over 50 miles away. Other ports in Florida to consider are Ft. Lauderdale, with 4 large golf courses within 10 miles, the Miami Dolphin stadium and a casino; and Tampa, which has several beautiful courses within the city. All of these have a huge variety of hotels, from 5 star to mom & pop motels. You can't go wrong with any of these choices!
