Ideas for a cruise that would appeal to a Single Mother and her 18 year old Son
I am planning our first cruise. I do need help on where to look for a cruise that would appeal to an 18 year old boy who is into sports and is outgoing. I am a single mother between the age of 40 and 50.
I want my son to be able to hang out and make new friends and be able to participate in a
lot of activities.
I would like to go onboard sit back and relax. Of course I want the best price possible with departure from East Coast (we are here in the
middle of the country). My first inclination would be Carnival but I
don't know which ship would best appeal to my
Son and I.

I would go with Royal Caribbean for sure. You didn't mention timing, but the sample itinerary below would give your 18 year old plenty of time to bond with other teens onboard the wonderful Freedom of the Seas and a chance to investigate 3 ports. I would definitely encourage you to take a balcony stateroom - You'll have a soothing private retreat in the beautiful air while he's chatting up all the kids.
