What cruises do kids go free on?

Since I’m booking a family cruise, can anyone tell me what cruises do kids go free on? I’ve heard that in a lot of cases kids cruise free when accompanied by adults. That would such a great savings for us if that is true! Are they just international cruises or long cruises that offer deals like that? Oh, and how old do the kids have to be to qualify for that? I’ve heard of restaurants and hotels offering kids free if they’re under like 5 years old or something. I’d be very interested to hear if anyone has information on what cruise lines offer kids cruise free.

Kids cruise free

I looked at this too, since I’m going to cruise with kids. Several cruise lines offer special promos from time to time with kids sail free. Disney has lower rates for kids that stay in the same cabin as their parents or two adults, and real small kids under 3 are free. Carnival offers discounts all the time, too. But I have seen Norwegian offering kids under 17 to cruise free on a Miami to Bahamas 3-day and 4-day cruise for 2009 to promote their year-round itineraries. That is a great deal, plus they have good kids programs to keep the young ones occupied and happy. Especially with the economy, I think cruise lines offer really good deals as incentives for families to cruise, so watch close for the promotions.
