Experience European Ports aboard Disney Magic

Parents wanting to share an international experience with their children have a new avenue to pursue through the expansion of Disney Cruise Lines into the European market. Sending their ship, the Disney Magic, into the Northern European waters to visit such ports as Stockholm, Switzerland, Berlin, Germany and St. Petersburg, Russia, families will be able to experience the Capitals Cruise in normal Disney flair.

The cruise ship will leave dock from Dover, England beginning in June and July of 2010, with four opportunities to take advantage of this family oriented odyssey. Families joining this exciting venture by Disney will embark upon its first ever 12 night fantasy cruise, taking part in discovering different cultures, history and educational folklore.

In addition, Disney plans to once again visit the Mediterranean seas for cruises lasting 10 to 11 nights in response to extremely favorable feedback from passengers who sailed in 2007. Added to the itinerary of previous ports of call in Italy, France and Spain will be stops in Northern Africa, Malta and Corsica, bringing even more fascinating and interesting sites to intrigue the Disney Magic travelers.

April, May, August and September are targeted months for these cruises which will take place in 2010.
Disney also has announced several other repositioning cruises: two transatlantic voyages of 14 nights; seven nights from Barcelona to Dover, England; and a third, an eight night trek from Dover, England to Barcelona.

In response to guest requests for slightly longer cruises, Disney has created new schedules for the Disney Wonder on its Caribbean voyages for 2010. Visiting the Castaway Cay twice during the cruise is one feature that will delight passengers on the longer sailing.

Disney continues to remain steadfast in their commitment to meet the needs of their guests. Repositioning cruises, extending sailings and new, exotic destinations are just one more way Disney brings family oriented cruise vacations to reality.
