Kosherica Cruise and Vacation Schedules Announced

The Oceania Cruise Line will be the vessel transporting guests on a first time ever six-star kosher cruise into Israel and Egypt in August, 2009. This will be one of 30 kosher cruises offered by Kosherica, a leader in the kosher cruise and travel industry. In addition to the exciting cruise agenda, Kosherica is conducting several luxury vacation experiences for Passover. The two exciting choices combined are being referred to as the “Kosher Stimulus Package”.

The first cruises of the season have already been completed, with January and February seeing ships depart to the Panama Canal, Central America and the Caribbean. Other destinations include Italy, Russia, Spain, Greece, Australia, the fjords of Norway, Alaska and Vietnam. The menus are being prepared under the guidance of the Maritime Glatt Kosher, and will be served complete with white linens, china and crystal for a truly special experience. A scholar in residence program is also included by Kosherica; featuring Rabbis Marvin Hier, Steven Weil, Shlomo Riskin and Marc Schneier. The kosher cruises have fares starting at $999.

Passover is an important event, and the five star vacations designed by Kosherica reflect the solemnity and reverence. Choices for the holiday include Miami Beach at the Deauville Beach Resort as well as Canyon Ranch; Puerto Rico at the Rio Grande Gran Melia; and Miami’s Coral Gable area at the Miami Biltmore Golf Resort and Spa. These Passover events are complete with Orthodox religious services, lectures by the scholars in residence, two seders, entertainment and Passover menus.
