Take a Luxury Cruise, Help Save the Oceans

Celebrities and members of the jet set who seek an adventurous and unique cruise experience, a luxury yacht charter is the way to go. Vacationing at the French Riviera, which is also known as Cote d'Azur, takes the celebrities away from the prying eyes of the media and general paparazzi in a manner that is relaxing and luxurious. While interacting with marine life such as whales and dolphins is a wonderful advantage in of itself, there is an even better reason for them to treat their families to such a cruise: helping to save the oceans of the world for future generations.
1-800-YachtCharter is donating 5% of the proceeds of the cruise fare to help save the oceans when cruising between June and October.

The charity that has been chosen by the CEO of 1-800-YachtCharter is an organization called OCEANA. A leading force in the conservation of oceans, OCEANA has been featured in both Vanity Fare and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine due to their efforts to reduce climate change and protect the marine life of our ocean waters. The organization is also widely supported by Hollywood greats such as Ted Dansen, Brooke Shields, Jamie Lee Curtis, Harrison Ford, Nicolas Cage and Pierce Brosnan, to name just a few. Ted Dansen is a member of the organization’s board, and speaks strongly on their behalf.

These yachts are not your common every day sailing vessel; they are multimillion dollar mega yachts that feature accommodations, dining and amenities in the style of an elite 5-star resort. Only the finest and largest of yachts are chosen for these guests of distinction. Guests are encouraged to bring along any vacation paraphernalia they wish; kayaks, scuba gear or whatever equipment that might be required for the hobby or interest of their choice.

Although this type of cruise may not be for the average working person, it is nice to know that those who have the means to make a difference in the world by working to save the earth’s ocean are taking part in this most important cause.
