Before we get to that though, let me tell you how my passion started. Henrik Ibsen once said that "The Sea possesses a power over ones moods that have the effect of will. The sea can hypnotize. Nature in general can do so."

I was hypnotized very early in life. Around 5 years of age, my parents took me on a trip to a little seaside village. The moment I saw that unique village and the gorgeous ocean I decided that I would be a sea captain so that I could sail around the world visiting interesting places.

But, you know how it is – real life happened and I became a civil engineer straight out of college instead. But then, some years ago, a travel consultant challenged me to take a real vacation; I accepted and took a cruise with my wife from Fort Lauderdale to Nassau Bahamas, spent time in Orlando, and stayed at a lush Boca Raton Hotel.

That was all it took for me to become hooked again; cruising and travelling have been my life ever since. And that has led me to my speciality: insider information. It’s easy to get confused by all the cruise information that’s out there. That’s why this site is dedicated to providing accurate and valuable information.
