Have you considered some common mistakes people make when they plan their cruise vacation? Well one major mistake is not getting a travel consultant. Another is not buying travel insurance coverage. You may wonder why? but first let me tell you a little secret.
You see, I’m affiliated with Ticket to Travel, an established and reputable travel agency located in San Jose, California. Because I am a cruise travel specialist that works with Ticket to Travel. .....
I have access to exclusive cruise packages that the general public don’t know about. What’s better, these high-value packages usually cost less than the “deals” you find online.
Buying travel insurance might seem to cost more but can save you a lot of grief and heart aches when things do not go as plan. Think about this. Does life always go strictly according to our plans all the time? Unexpected emergencies, missed flight connections, lost baggages, illness during vacation yes it could happen to you.
You want to go on your cruise vacation; have a fantastic time, avoid disatrous circumstances and not pay too much for too little. Wouldn't you want to have an ally to help resolve conflicts with your service providers? Having an established agency on your side will surely make a difference when you want to solve problems quickly, So do it right the first time. Get a travel consultant to book your cruise trip.
Unfortunately, I’ve talked to many people who decided to plan a cruise on their own, with disastrous results. You can learn from their mistakes therefore I bring you:
Four Common Online Travel Frauds:
• Phoney Companies: After you hand over your money the company disappears or you discover they are under investigation for illegal advertising or selling.
• Vacation Certificates: It seems like you’re getting a great bargain but that’s only because this “certificate” doesn’t show or include extra fees. Your airfare may seem “free” but watch out, you may end up paying much more than the price of a ticket in hidden costs.
• Free…For a Price: You get a great deal on your cruise but there’s a reason for this: you end up with dirty and cramped rooms, inedible food, and your room is in a bad location. You can upgrade…for a hefty price.
• Get the Money and Run: You find a super deal and give over a down payment to lock you in. When you try to actually plan your trip, you can’t get straight answers from anyone…if there’s even anyone to talk to.
Winston’s List of Do's:
1. Do only make your decision after you comparison shop.
2. Do ask questions – lots of questions.
3. Do only sign on the dotted line after you know all the details.
4. Do only give your credit card information only to trusted and reputable legitimate busineses.
5. Do only book services from companies you know. Check their credentials on the Better Business Bureau website at: http://welcome.bbb.org/.
6. Do only buy travel packages from reliable companies. It is better also if you can get a real live person to contact in case of emergencies. (The only exceptions are established agencies like Orbitz, Travelocity, or Expedia.
7. Do think twice before falling for something that seems too good to be true.
Yes that’s a lot of information to take in. You have me to help take care of all these details for you when I book your cruise vacation!
